We must think conservation realizing we are living REALTIME CLIMATE CHANGE.
IT IS IRRESPONSIBLE TO UNNECESSARILY REMOVE VALUABlE GREEN SPACE AND FARMLAND, ASSAULTING OUR WETLANDS AND BIODIVERSITY GIVEN 21ST CENTURY ISSUES..
There is available land outside the greenbelt for development and that is already known so why on earth would you take land from such valuable asset and unique ecosystem and heritage lands.
THE SCIENCE IS VERY WELL DOCUMENTED FOR DECADES THAT WE NEED OUR NATURAL HERITAGE AND NATURAL WATER RESOURCES...AND FARMLAND TO SECURE FOOD SUPPLIES GOING FORWARD AND ALSO TO SUSTAIN HEALTHY COMMUNITIES. DESTROYING OUR VALUABLE NATURAL ASSETS IS ANTI ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION WHILE WE HAVE SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE OF THEIR CRITICAL VALUE TO OUR SURVIVAL. WHY DO YOU WANT TO LEAVE A LEGACY OF BEING IRRESPONSIBLE WHEN YOU HAVE OTHER CHOICES. THIS IS JUST WRONG GIVEN THE CRITICAL TIMES WE ARE LIVING IN . WE EXPECT SMART GROWTH NOT OUTDATED URBAN SPRAWL THAT TRUTHFULLY DOES NOT ADDRESS THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING CRISIS.
