The proposed expansion into Greenbelt area for the purpose of allowing further development will irreparably harm Ontario's ecosystem. With the advent of SARS-CoV-2 from wildlife, pushing further into the formerly natural region will reduce wild space for the naturally occurring wildlife and increase the opportunities for zoonotic exchange of viruses.

Further, habitat destruction has already resulted in a critical reduction in insect species, which will harm Ontario agriculture. I vehemently oppose this expansion. Build up, not out. Invest in clean mass transport before it's too late.
