This Bill has nothing to do with building affordable homes - or any homes - faster. The Seaton development in Pickering has barely started and if the province wanted homes faster it would simply incentivize speeding up that development and the hundreds of others already in the system.

This Bill is about political payoffs to rich supporters of the PC party. It's about the Premier doing what he's told by the people he's indebted to. The timing and the undemocratic process are clearly designed to limit resistance and push through what these developers want, like the Premier promised them he would.

Build homes in areas with existing public transit and services. Leave prime agricultural lands and wetlands alone. We can't get it back.
