As if eliminating the Far…

As if eliminating the Far North Act wasn't enough, now we are profiting the few and destroying important green space that was once protected. (Coincidence that much of the space being designated was recently purchased by major donators to the party in power?)

Yes we need affordable housing - and there is still plenty of opportunity for infill (sp?) in and around the GTA or further out. Or create something like the far north act where local areas are able to properly plan for development while protecting green space!

There is NO need to cut into this protected space. Global warming is NOT going away and is only being quickened but these short sighted ideas.

I am just one comment being read by a public servant (thank-you) but please note all the other voices that are opposed (from environmental advocates to municipalities). Those that are in support stand to make financial gains.

This is a horrible and self-serving idea pretending to be for the sole purpose of affordable housing when again, there are other solutions.
