Please don't do this. Having lived in a house before with frequent floods, it's not fun. Mould issues, damage to property, need for renovations are just a list of issues.

While there is a need for more housing, this is not the way to do it. A lot of people want housing within cities (city centres) and not further out. Instead of building more condos, please build more houses such as freehold detached houses or semi-detached houses WITHIN city limits where there is adequate public transportation such as subways and buses.

Why would you build housing on the Greenbelt where the land is supposed to be protected? Please don't destroy wildlife and the wetlands. I find this is unnecessary, as most people want housing within city limits where their jobs are.

If housing is built on wetlands, are taxpayers supposed to bail out these houses when they have frequent floods? I don't believe that insurance will pay out to houses built on top of wetlands. Just look at Calgary. The government had to bail out those people and is Ontario going down the same route?

Please don't sell off the Greenbelt.
