While Ontario needs more housing, the relentless sprawl is only attenuated by the green belt, and cutting into it to make property developers rich is shameful. Simply looking at the GTA will tell anyone with a whit of sense that mindless expansion solves no problems here. Consider this a datum strongly opposed to eroding the existing green belt.
