This is a clear betrayal of the Ontario people, and puts our agricultural and water systems at significant risk.
Green space is decidedly good for health, and the Ontario housing crisis will not be solved by suburban sprawl where a car is required to acquire the goods and services families need day-to-day.
Land availability isn't the issue. There are existing housing units that are not being well-managed and/or belong to foreign buyers who have no intention of living in their purchased space.
