This bill flies in the face…

This bill flies in the face of Premiere Fords election promises and will do nothing to alleviate the current housing crisis. First adding new inventory at market prices does nothing to help new buyers who cannot afford said market prices. There is more than enough existing zoned but undeveloped land to build these units on. The governments plan to swap other land makes egregious assumptions that all land is environmentally equal, and lacks any scientific logic or reasoning. This is not surprising given the conservative government’s general detest for science, the environment or the people of Ontario. This bill should not be allowed to move forward, it is simply Doug Ford trying to sell the province to his friends.
