Doug Ford's proposal to rezone the greenbelt in Ontario is a bad idea because the greenbelt is a vital piece of our natural heritage that helps protect valuable agricultural land, provides habitat for wildlife, and helps protect clean water. Re-zoning the greenbelt would put this important area of natural beauty and resources at risk, and could potentially lead to environmental degradation and negative impacts on Ontario's biodiversity.
