I feel the Greenbelt is…

I feel the Greenbelt is urgently needed to protect habitat and provide natural buffers against impacts of climate change. Ontario had the foresight to set this land aside 50 years ago and it would be folly to go against that wise act now.

Ontario needs affordable housing, not the type that would be built on the greenbelt lands. Ontario also needs mass transit, not more roads for more car. People need to be encourage to take trains and buses in highly populated areas such as those around the edges of the GTA and within it.
