Absolutely unacceptable and inappropriate for Ontario to pass Bill 23. It’s the most damaging and inadequate way out of a problem that has been created by the lack of planning from current provincial government. We demand a holistic and detailed analysis and report comparing all alternative options, inclusive of income equality and increased urban density, before a decision to further damage protected land. Building more houses faster is NOT the only solution to the current housing crisis. And pretending building more houses (in places people don’t even wanna live) is an intellectual insult to citizens.
