Long after the morally reprehensible act of creating this law is done, the environmental disaster this legislation provokes will harm our unborn grandchildren. What type of society have we become where such blatant patronage to rich benefactors is tolerated at the cost of all of us?
Never in nearly six decades of living has proposed legislation angered me to the level this does. This is not the legacy myself or any responsible government would ever care to leave our society with.
Honour the commitments you made years ago to protect the greenbelt!
I will be using publicly available tools to participate in every opportunity I can to block the goals of the developers whose only interest is to capitalize on this act with zero regard for the wellbeing of our society as a whole. Too bad the Ford government of the day is so blatantly disregarding this primary responsibility of good governance with this legislation, doubtless to be passed with contempt for the whole electorate excepting the .01%.
