Doug Ford has broken the promise and law made to protect the green belt.
This move will not help the housing crisis. There are plenty of spaces within and around the city that could be built on without needing to open up ecologically sensitive areas. In a time of climate crisis, food supply challenges and rising grocery costs, this is the LEAST effective and sustainable move possible.
