I'm upset and disappointed…

I'm upset and disappointed in the Ontario government for not only going back on a promise not to touch or develop the Greenbelt, but to think that one block of land could replace another.

Several blocks of Greenbelt lands will be appropriated in my area - areas where for generations forests and farms have flourished. Wildlife of all kinds and sizes will be affected. Air quality will be affected not only by construction, but by the resulting new inhabitants.

I understand that the government is attempting to spend our way out of a recession, but perhaps the Government can arbitrarily rezone low density existing housing vs arbitrarily paving over the land that sustains our grocery stores, and our mental health.
Please very much reconsider the carbon creation of the Greenbelt-paving.
