I am very concerned about the potential damage that Bill 23 will allow. Destruction of wetlands and environmentally sensitive areas will be a tragedy - especially if only to benefit a few developers. This bill will do nothing to address the housing crisis for the homeless and underhoused as well as the middle class which is struggling to afford to deal with skyrocketing rent and housing prices. This bill must be repealed and an investigation launched into the connections between Doug Ford and the people who have suddenly and recently purchased land in the Greenbelt.
