Farmland, conservation lands…

Farmland, conservation lands and open green spaces need to be protected. Our future depends on it.

Every acre of tillage land that is changed into housing is lost forever. We need to be encouraging planning to build up not out. Make it easier to walk, bike or use public transit.

It is not right to take the future from our youth without considering the impacts free for all land consumption land on our youth.

Development charges are the most important step in funding public use spaces and programs. Without their funding it would land on the tax payers.

Please consider increasing density requirements, strengthening conservation of open green space and farmland, and keeping development charges
