Really unhappy with what this bill is proposing. Seems as though there is no consideration being made for what this means for the environment or the species at risk in the area. Moreover, some of the land that would be opened up is within the flood zones, which makes no sense.

There is no guarantee that housing will be cheaper based on this proposal as there is no enforcement of anything in place. I am strongly opposed to this bill, due to the irreversible damage it would do to the environment, the fact that there are clearly other lands that are available for development, and because this would actually end up making homes even less affordable for first time home owners, like myself, as the funding for the municipalities is reduced.
