A) I want a real climate change plan with the following objectives: 1) to reduce emissions, 2) to help people save energy and 3) to create more jobs in a clean economy than the fossil fuel economy will EVER create. After all, even in oil-rich Texas, there are already more clean-economy jobs than fossil-fuel jobs! If Texas can do this, Ontario can certainly do this better.
B) I want Ontario to put a price on carbon-dioxide output (and other climate-changing pollutants), making polluters pay for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint.
C) I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement.
D) I want Ontario to be 100% powered by clean energy by 2050
E) I want Ontario to end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies (e.g. for exploration, R&D-support/deductions and other subsidies) and redirect this money to clean energy solutions.
