This is one of the most distressing of any decisions this year government has made. To break up the greenbelt to build homes , which we desperately need, does not solve ANY of
the problems the govt suggests. Eating up farmland, affecting watersheds and green spaces is destroying our future. There are many ways and places to build homes that will not compromise our future.
There is never any mention of schools, hospitals, corner stores…liveable communities. Only homes for those that could buy anywhere. Reducing development fees benefits no one but the developers…and especially when the govt plans on using green lands absolutely NO fees should be reduced. The developers and the govt should be penalized for this ludicrous, ill thought out plan.
This is our future. This is our Childrens future.
Ignoring the need to protect our environment and our climate should be top priority. Or we have no future.
