My family is opposed to this Bill. It is not necessary to develop in the Green Belt, and is highly questionable, as it is unlikely to provide affordable nor attainable housing that is needed. The Premier promised not to touch the Greenbelt, so he either lied, and/ or was paid off by developers to reverse his promise. The gutting of the Conservation Authorities and downloading of development costs to Municipalities is abhorrent. Heritage regulations are also important to preserve what was built by previous generations. The lack of sincere consultation with Indigenous Peoples makes this Bill unacceptable and must be revoked before it is too late to correct this inappropriate and immoral legislation.
