It's 2018, climate change is clearly a real thing that must be dealt with. Neither I nor most of the current politicians will live to see the worst effects, but the effects will occur in the lifetimes of our children.
We need to deal with this in our generation, for them and for the continued thriving of our species, regardless of whether we will be alive to experience our success or failure.
Now is no time to be rolling back the beginnings of our progress. Take a lesson from progressive Europe, not regressive USA, and acknowledge our shared responsibility towards our children's futures, not to the present profitability of our own companies.
