In light of the immediate danger of climate change and the need to act NOW to cut back on emissions if we are to have a hope in sustaining the Earth as we know it, I am shocked that you would think of cancelling the Cap and Trade Act. I understand you think it will put a few more dollars in the pockets of "the people" but what good is that when dealing with ravaging fires and drought and tornadoes that threaten to be our new norm? It is extremely neglectful and naive to withdraw something of this importance, without anything to take its place. Scientists have been warning for many years, politicians have been slow, but this is downright dark ages and I am very sad for our children.
