The PMTSAs are a great idea. The City of Toronto desperately needs more connectivity and public transit. And, it is absolutely critical that additional density (above and beyond what has already been recommended) is pursued in the areas of PMTSAs and especially within walking distance of planned major transit stations. Those are the most logical areas for additional densities and heights and where NIMBYism weighs against such density and pushes local councilors to veto it, it is up to the Province to see the future and make decisions that promote the City's growth and long-term prosperity.

With that in mind, I support the PMTSAs, especially those located close to the City of Toronto and East of Yonge Street due to the lack of investment in that area to ensure the City grows in a logical and forward thinking manner (for example, with stations at Moss Park and Corktown, as well as Riverside).

If the ultimate goal is to reduce urban sprawl and increase usage of public transit, we need to look at even more increased density along transit lines and especially those currently being contemplated.
