The Ministry should compile and report the data provided by the municipalities to the public on a quarterly or semi-annual basis, beginning November 30, 2023.
In addition to the required municipal data,the Ministry should report to the public on a semi-annual or annual basis, beginning November 30, 2023:
1. The increase in Provincially funded local schools matching the growth in new housing growth being mandated by the Province. Such schools to be within the walking distance matching the local school board standards for students walking to school.
2. How the growth in housing is meeting or otherwise impacting Ontario's and Canada's national emissions reduction and Climate change mitigation targets .
3. The degree to which the Provincial and municipal funded hard and soft infrastructure growth is matching the growth in new housing. Such reporting should includes but not be limited to the Provincially funded increase in hospital beds and hospital staff, other new medical assistance and emergency services, and municipal roads, sewers and sewage treatment plants.
