I support keeping the Cap and Trade system in place. It is vitally important for the future of our economy to reduce our carbon emissions. The cost of climate change events on our cities, businesses and country is astronomical and we must take all avenues to keep climate change in check. I believe that this system can be done in such a way that it does not add another tax to everyday people. Polluters and industries that pollute must pay the real cost of their carbon emissions. It is false economy to give polluters a free ride as the rest of society will be paying for it in the damage of climate change. It's time to step up and take charge of our carbon emissions before this becomes an irreversible situation that causes untold havoc on our food systems and every avenue of life as we know it.
