I’m a neighbour within close proximity to this proposed site. I have been living in the area for over 45 years. I cannot believe this kind of disposal of human waste can be allowed. Within the last 8 years I applied to build a new house and had issues with where I could build due to St. Claire conservation limitations around woodlots and waterways. This is just for a single residence with a modern septic system. Now there is a proposal for a dump site with a creek or waterway that runs though a property which is a proposed dump site for thousands of gallons of human waste. The water table is less than a foot below grade that can be seen by the pond that Dwayne has already dug. When we get big rains or there is winter run off the pond actually flows over. This in turn will allow surface spread waste to run directly into drainage ditch that flows west past multiple residents wells and straight to the Sydenham river and into lake St. Claire. I cannot comprehend how this can be allowed and the MNR and conservation authorities can even entertain such a proposal. This must be stopped and better means of disposing this waste must be considered. Furthermore Dwayne lives in a different township and owns property where there are no waterways and higher more suitable ground for this. But he is unwilling to dump his sewage waste near his own residence. This in turn tells me something that he does not want the smell or possibilities of contamination of water near his own place of residence. Please stop this disaster before it starts!
