I am very happy that this is being reviewed.
I wonder if it is feasible to also limit the overuse of a space as well - one over-water camping unit moves out and another immediately moves in. It defeats the purpose. Perhaps a way to say something like - that in a 30 day period, a space can only be occupied for a max of 7 days. Especially if the intent is ecological sustainability & responsibility.
I think the proposed changes are a bare minimum of what needs to be done. Protecting our shorelines and the beauty of this country is getting harder and harder. As a resident of the The Muskokas in Ontario, the amount of development happening along the natural shorelines of our interior lakes is already astronomical. I'd hate to look out on our Lake and see a city of sea cans and floating homes that don't fall under any jurisdiction.
