Today, October 8, 2018, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change stated that the world has just over a decade to get climate change under control. Sweeping changes are required to hold our planet's warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius to prevent global devastation. Here in Ontario our government, which claims to be "for the people", is pulling out of a Federal program intended to help prevent just such a catastrophe. Do the Ontario PCs have serious climate change legislation in mind to replace Cap and Trade? Can this government be forward looking or are they wedded to short term gains at the expense of our future? Is this really the best our provincial government can do "for the people".
