I am appalled that our new Conservative government is totally abandoning all the green energy plans that the previous government had set in motion. I could see some amendments but not at total repeal. I am happy to see the previous government's gas-plant/wind mill/solar energy trilogy boondoggle gone but getting rid of even the good things they were trying to do is just as wrong as they were with their boondoggles.

• I want Ontario to be 100% powered by clean energy by 2050.
• I want Ontarioans to get their heads out of the sand and realize that nuclear power is the only long-term way to achieve 100% clean energy because wind and solar do not work well enough in Ontario’s climate to meet our needs. The gas plants required to balance the wind and solar deficiencies would have emitted significant carbon, but it seems the previous government sold the gas plants to buy a billion dollar’s worth of corruption. Now we have to pay dearly for uncontrollable wind & solar generation.
• I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement.
• I want Ontario to end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions.
• I want the Ontario government to stop meddling and restore Ontario Power Generation and Hydro One to be Crown Corporations that are allowed to professionally plan and design Ontario’ s energy future.
• I want Ontario to plan to build 4 large nuclear plants in the next 25 years to replace our aging fleet that is too expensive to refurbish and also provide for the province's increase in electricity demand over the next quarter century.
• I want Ontario to embrace the vision of 100% clean energy with the night-time excess production used to charge the 100% electric vehicle fleet the will exist in the province.
