Cancelling this is a terrible idea. It goes against decades of scientific and engineering research in order to fulfil a short-term political agenda and score a few points, maybe save a few dollars, at the expense of our health and our environment. This is not rhetoric. This is the stark reality those with breathing difficulties already face, and cancellation makes it worse, bordering on lethal for some. It's clear the actions of the present Premier are not based in much beyond partisanship and ideology, and needlessly plunges us into a battle with the federal government. If this is about saving money and "respecting" the taxpayer, don't waste our money on the obvious and avoidable legal battle. If this is about saving jobs, put the same money into finding environmentally beneficial research. Don't pretend it's about anything other than short-term profit and ideological points. Adding "liar" and "hypocrite" to short list of accomplishments is not something to be proud of. It's not always about money. Some things are more important than that.
