Changing policy with a "housing at all costs" approach is only going to create and amplify other problems down the line. What good is more (if builders even build it) housing when there are no jobs or food or clean environment anyway. Removing the mcr process is bad policy, narrowing the definition of employment areas to this is bad policy, it's like whoever wrote this policy document has never worked in urban or rural planning before. ever. I didn't think policy could be less thought out, but here we are.
