I'm an owner of 2 antique…

I'm an owner of 2 antique cars that are fitted with natural rubber fuel supply parts. Thanks to the present "may contain up to 10%" ethanol regulations, for regular octane fuel, these parts have failed. Many of my fellow antique, classic car hobbyists, have been faced with this problem that has cost us more money replacing (IF possible) parts that have to have neoprene rubber to work. Some members, in the 3 car clubs that I participate in, have vehicles that can't be used due to their lack of neoprene parts to make their fuel systems to work, or they need to run their vehicles with high octane premium fuel that has no ethanol content.
My question/concern is, how much would it cost, the public, when the minimums go to 20% ethanol. Can you guarantee this government can/will prove, beyond a doubt, that our atmosphere will have less pollution, as a result of this change? Will/can the government explain/prove where will our local food supply, in corn products, come from after more local corn supplies are diverted to federal subsidised /supported ethanol producers? Is this the same panel/committee that believes electric supply windmills are actually powering this province/country?
Escalating a scientifically unproven increment of ethanol use, into the market, will cause MORE pollution due to usage of higher blends. The change in pollution levels, can't be measured just above our lands alone, which our government blindly believes will be "cleaned up".
I beg the Minister to rescind the proposition of increasing the ethanol ratio, and give a public notice of reconsideration of such a motion. Save our crops, so that we have food to feed our growing population that needs corn-based food, not burnt/wasted ethanol, to live.
Thank you.
