Ontario has the chance to lead the way in Canada on mitigating Climate Change. Cap and Trade DOES NOT cost the taxpayer money, it costs POLLUTERS money. This is NOT AN ISSUE WE CAN CONTINUE TO IGNORE. As I write this, the UN has released their report on the need for unprecedented action on climate change if we want to keep the WORST results at bay.

The decision of this government to repeal a key piece of legislation is shameful to not only myself, not only to Ontario, not only to Canada, but to the entire international community. Climate change affects and will continue to affect people of every creed, race, class, and in every country around the world. Money will not keep us safe; only effective, immediate action will help the planet, and this is a step in the WRONG direction.
