Premier Ford, PLEASE deeply consider what cancelling a cap and trade policy would mean for our province, the largest in the country, and the world.

As we've just seen with the recently released UN Climate Report, world leaders cannot take this lightly. If we are to cancel the cap and trade policy in Ontario, we NEED to implement a better, EFFECTIVE carbon pricing policy. We NEED TO. Time is running out and we need to recognize that the world - Canada - will no longer be the same if we continue on this road of over-consumption and high carbon emissions. Please also consider where the money left over from our current program will be put to use in Ontario: there are many social assistance programs that are being cut. But many folks still need support. If you are truly for the people, I hope your government considers the ramifications of these actions and the effects they will have on the people of Ontario and Canada.
