At this time, especially as we have just had a UN report citing the urgency of the need to address climate change it is irresponsible for the government of Doug Ford to cancel the existing carbon tax measures that were put in place by the previous government. The Ford government represents just 40% of the votes in the last election. The majority of voters voted for parties that supported the cap and trade plan and the benefits it produced. This plan to scrap the cap and trade when the government has no idea what it will replace it with is more than irresponsible, it threatens the lives of this planet. This is a head in the ground approach.
