Re Cap & Trade in Ontario
I believe that the cancellation of the Cap & Trade arrangements for Ontario is a serious mistake, because all Canadian governments must now put all their time and efforts to protecting Canadians from the disasters of climate change. This new report of the IPCC says so. All government employees must study this report.
All houses in Ontario must have more insulation. How will the Ontario government make this happen? All cars must stop using fossil fuels. We only have about 12 years.
Surely enough people have died from the overheating of Canadians? How will you help all the Canadians who have just had their houses flooded or burned or destroyed by tornados this year? And next year and next …
Please leave the Federal arrangements alone. Start figuring out how Ontario is going to reduce our use of fossil fuels by around 60 to 70%. Of course you will then help Ontarians live in a house that needs little oil or gas.
This is urgent - don’t waste government time, energy, and money on trying to change what is not needing to be changed.
