Premier Ford,
It is abhorrent that this Cap and Trade Act is being cancelled. Its has been proven to work in many jurisdictions (California, Quebec). Many economists feel this is the best way to move forward with Climate Change Action.
It is irresponsible to undo all the good that has been done with this Act, supporting Green Vehicles, Bike Lanes, Metrolinx. Climate change is real and it is happening as we speak. We must act to stop it, or truly our survival is at risk.
You have not presented the people of Ontario with a plan. What is your plan to tackle climate change? Ignoring it will only serve to put a even heavier burden on the future and on our children.
