It's amazing that we (as the human species) are dumping 35,000,000,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide into the Earth's atmosphere every year and the Ontario Government now doesn't think this is a problem. Remember how cap-and-trade was super-effective at eliminating acid rain? Well, that amount of CO2 is also acidifying our oceans and lakes (in addition to acting as a greenhouse gas, with ruinous consequences for our climate). Please keep cap-and-trade to help do something about this pollutant - it works, we know it does. Other countries/jurisdictions are doing it and are reducing their emissions. Let's not be the laggard here.
