We must keep the Cap and Trade Act. Losing the funds has impacted entities I didn't even think about (schools, bike infratstructure). Neither the school boards or municipalities are able to source alternative funds with such little notice.
We are in a climate crisis and this is ending the Act is a terrible idea. It is the very least we could. The very least.
Please keep the Act if only for the reason to help continue to fund maintenance budgets for schools and cycling infrastructure.
