Given the recent special climate report (SR15) by the UN's IPCC, it's apparent that cancelling Ontario's cap and trade agreement without any replacement (let alone one that's been shown to be equivalent, better, or even simply viable) is against the needs of Ontarians of all political parties, including Mr. Ford's own. If anything, the government of Ontario should be strengthening its commitment to mitigate or reverse the effects of anthropogenic climate change, as a fiscally and morally sane action.
