Airborne alkali contaminants will result in premature corrosion and breakdown of current residential properties as well as town infrastructure.
Contaminants will also further degrade the fertility of the areas soil. Preventing growth of plant life that could potentially offset the CO2 output produced in the process of creating concrete.
Proximity to a concrete plant in combination with CNL will result in unrecoverable drop in housing value.
Current accommodations for traffic throughout the village are already inadequate across highway 17. The addition of the heavy equipment required to supply and distribute the plants product will only put foot traffic and children at more risk.
