Concerted action on climate change NOW is vital to our future economy, health, and welfare.

If we and future generations of Ontarians are to thrive, much less survive, the Ontario government MUST take seriously and strengthen its climate-related laws and commitments.

The cap and trade program was an important path forward for encouraging the reduction of fossil fuel use. Bill 4's weak and equivocal language on emission targets and climate change plans, combined with the cancellation of green energy projects and the encouragement of fossil fuel use through gas price reductions, will set us back for many years to come.
