I am a St. Catharines…

I am a St. Catharines resident and have extreme reservations about this business being allowed to reopen for the following reasons:
1) I have not seen any report outlining the underlying causes of the accident. Nor have I seen any communications from the company expressing remorse or what they will do to make it right to Mr. Conkin's family.
2) The Owner of this business faces 84 charges related to the accident. What will happen / who will be on the hook to dispose of the waste products should the company be forced into insolvency?
3) How close this facility to a major water way is astounding. I'm not sure how this site was approved the first time around but with extreme weather events becoming the norm, I am extremely concerned about a potential release of chemicals into our drinking water.
