I am opposed to Demill’s…

I am opposed to Demill’s application to dewater Long’s quarry. The amount of water suggested is apt to turn the local groundwater reserves into a dust bowl. All of the neighbours depend on this groundwater to enable human and animal drinking, washing and flushing. Our properties become worthless without water. This is a category 3….high risk…application. What is Demill….or whoever he sells this quarry to….going to do for the neighbours who run out of water due to his dewatering of the quarry’s? What reparations will he be required to make?
