The area where Ssonix…

The area where Ssonix Products is located is in a business park that has light to medium industrial businesses. In no way could Ssonix Products be considered light or medium industrial when they are handling chemicals and hazardous materials.

While this area has in the past been a mix of residential homes and a business park of small businesses, many additional homes have been built here and the industrial park where they want to rebuild should not be zoned for anything other than light to medium industrial. This business should not be allowed to rebuild here, either temporarily or permanently. And to even consider allowing them to store the hazardous materials in the temporary containers they have indicated is ludicrous and poses a danger to this entire area.

As a resident living close to Ssonix, we do not want this business anywhere near our home. This business has no place in this business park. Do the right thing not only for the many families that live in this area but to also honour the young man who lost his life due to this explosion and fire.
