1. I don't think it's a good idea to have industrial waste so close to residences. When the explosion happened last year, I saw embers floating over the houses. Had the wind been a little stronger, and the wind is often strong in this area, I hate to think how many houses could have caught on fired. I am sure there are more isolated areas to contain their industrial waste business/

2. There are many charges against Ssonix pending and against the executives. Are we sure they will suddenly follow better safety measurements that adequately protect the neighbourhood. Can they be trusted.

3. There is no second route out of Port Weller. We could be sitting ducks if a company with charges pending against it are allowed to proceed to a new business with the same amount of danger risk to the neighbourhood. While lessons may have been learned, I think they should opt for a less residential area to prove their new safety procedures. No matter what, there should be a safe alternate route available before another hazardous waste company is allowed to start a business in the area.

4. A man's life was lost due to the negligence of management over safety procedures. That man was important to the world and his death cannot be dismissed.
