The land identified to be…

The land identified to be removed from the Greenbelt should be returned to the Greenbelt. It should never have been removed in the first place. There is a reason our government developed the Greenbelt: food security, plentiful clean water, wildlife corridors and preserving wetlands and forests close to our major southern Ontario cities.
The land removed was not done in a democratic way and favoured developers close to the Conservative Party! The land being removed didn't pass the smell test!
We need to take climate change seriously and I don't believe our current Ontario government looks at its decisions through a climate change lens. I find this disturbing because we know we are in the midst of severe climate change and all the governments decisions should consider how we can mitigate climate change.
