Absolutely I approve of returning these lands to the Greenbelt. That these lands were included in the first place is a failure of due diligence. The other greenbelt removals should also be reversed. Just reversing this one piece does not undo the betrayal of trust by this government.

The government should take back all land owned by foreign stakeholders who do not use it to build/ provide AFFORDABLE housing to Ontarians. I was born and raised in Ontario and I plan to leave the province in the next year due to the affordability crisis.

Return all lands to the Greenbelt, not just those in Ajax, and don't take more Greenbelt lands. This rigmarole is a waste of tax payer resources - return the lands and work on climate friendly affordable housing.
All lands remove from the Greenbelt must be returned to the Greenbelt immediately. The land never should have been removed and doing so was a gross violation of the trust of Ontarians and completely contrary to the purpose of creating the Greenbelt.

This proposal to return lands to the Greenbelt regulated boundary is a positive move in light of both the Auditor General's and Integrity Commissioner's reports released over the summer regarding changes to the Greenbelt Plan and Regulation in late 2022.

In light of the findings in the recent Auditor General's Report on the Greenbelt lands and Integrity Commissioner's Report, all lands should be returned to the Greenbelt immediately.
The land identified to be removed from the Greenbelt should be returned to the Greenbelt. It should never have been removed in the first place.

The Greenbelt scandal is a vivd illustration of the mishandling of the housing and development file. Of course then legislation must be introduced immediately to return those lands to the Greenbelt as promised. To do otherwise would be yet another broken promise. It is a must!
