Carbon Pricing is the only method that will put a cost on the largest externality that is negatively impacting our environment on a GLOBAL scale - green house gases. Polluter pays is a the only sustainable model. Our economy will fail if we continue to offload the real cost of our actions and products onto an environment that can no longer support us. We need to establish Fair Trade systems with nature and our atmosphere based on accepted, peer reviewed science. Ontario must act on Climate Change. We've been dismissing our greenhouse gas emission control responsibilities for decades, and have only now began making some headway on a problem that can negatively impact generations. Do not repeal Cap and Trade without a viable alternative.
