The cancellation of this program is going to hurt Ontario people more than help. Mr. Ford ran on a platform of being "for the people", however the cancellation of this program will mean a loss of jobs in the small business sector as people cancel or simply do not start home renovation projects to become more energy-efficient (as all of those tax breaks programs were funded through cap and trade dollars).

On top of that, now there will be a potential pay-out to *remove* existing wind farms? How is that a responsible use of my tax money?

So, regardless of whether this government cares about the long-term environmental impacts (and I suspect it doesn't, as thus far, the Ford government's "accomplishments" have all been very short-term items), this bill simply does not make fiscal sense. Isn't that one of the things you ran on?
